The Núcleo de Estudos Olímpicos (NEO) of Escola Internacional de Alphaville announced this month the opening of the following registrations:

6th Campeonato de Jogos Matemáticos da Universidade de São Paulo (JOGOMAT)
The Campeonato de Jogos Matemáticos da Universidade de São Paulo (JOGOMAT), promoted by CAEM - Centro de Aperfeiçoamento do Ensino de Matemática(Center for the Improvement of Mathematics Teaching) at the IME-USP - Instituto de Matemática e Estatística da Universidade de São Paulo (Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of São Paulo), is a competition focused on mathematical games for students from Elementary and High School, both from public and private schools in the regions of São Paulo and Minas Gerais. The event aims to stimulate logical reasoning, intra- and interpersonal development, and interaction among participants.

Target audience: students from Teens 6 to Teens 9
Preparatory meeting for registered participants with the Math teacher and responsible for NEO: Mr. Matheus Hisnauer.


10th Olimpíada Nacional de Ciências (ONC)
The Olimpíada Nacional de Ciências (ONC) is a nationwide scientific competition that aims to stimulate students’ interest in Elementary and High School in the areas of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, and History of Science. Organized by the UFPI - Universidade Federal do Piauí (Federal University of Piauí) with support from institutions such as CNPq and scientific societies, ONC promotes critical thinking and scientific reasoning through two-phase tests, usually conducted online at the schools themselves.

Target audience: students from Teens 6 to High School 3
Preparatory classes for registered participants with the teachers Caio Salutte (Physics), Bianca Silles (Science and Biology), Hendrik Dillan (Chemistry), Carlos Furtado (Astronomy), and Juliana Gomes (History).


10th Olimpíada Brasileira de Geografia (OBG)
The Olimpíada Brasileira de Geografia (OBG) is an academic competition aimed at High School students from public and private schools throughout Brazil. Its main goal is to awaken students' interest in Geography by promoting critical thinking, socio-environmental awareness, and understanding of spatial and territorial processes.

Target audience: students from High School 1 to High School 3
Preparatory and orientation meetings throughout the competition for registered participants with the Geography teacher and Brazilian Social Studies IBDP instructor: Mr. Bruno Delvequio.


In the NEO+ track, exclusive to multi-medalist students and those with exceptional academic performance, by invitation of the teachers of the subjects related to each Olympiad:

27th Olimpíada Brasileira de Informática - Modalidade Iniciação (OBI)
The Olimpíada Brasileira de Informática (OBI), organized by the SBC - Sociedade Brasileira de Computação (Brazilian Computer Society), includes the Initiation level aimed at Elementary School students. Its main goal is to spark interest in computer science and develop computational thinking early on, serving as an entry point to programming and exact sciences.

Target audience: students from Teens 6 to Teens 9
Preparatory meeting for registered participants with the Math teacher and NEO coordinator: Mr. Matheus Hisnauer.

3rd Young League Challenge
The Young League Challenge, promoted by Sebrae - Serviço Brasileiro de Apoio às Micro e Pequenas Empresas (Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service) in partnership with the Instituto Ideias de Futuro, is the largest free competition of technological entrepreneurship in the Brazilian school environment, aimed at students from the 8th grade of Elementary School through Higher Education. Teams, formed by 2 to 5 young people (with an advisor, who may be a teacher), participate in a training track with workshops, lectures, mentoring, and Entrepreneurial Missions — including state, regional, and national phases — to develop projects that solve real challenges in schools or communities with technological or analog solutions.

Target audience: students from Teens 8 to High School 3
