MomsXperience
At Escola Internacional de Alphaville, multilingual learning comes alive as students explore ideas, create projects, and engage in meaningful communication across languages. From Kids classes, children immerse fully in English, acquiring the language naturally while Portuguese remains central to their cultural identity. As they progress, Spanish is introduced, and students prepare for international language certifications. Through bilingual book clubs, guided reading, and literacy-focused activities, they deepen comprehension, critical thinking, and cultural awareness, growing the confidence and skills to communicate effectively in a global world.
At Escola Internacional, our international student body includes learners from a wide range of countries - such as Mexico, Chile, Argentina, the U.S., Peru, China, and more - creating a vibrant, inclusive environment that fosters global awareness and cultural exchange.

Kids
From the beginning of their learning journey, children are immersed in English, naturally building language skills before transitioning to a dual-language instruction program. Starting in Kids 5, students begin their learning journey in English and Portuguese, deepening literacy skills in both languages while boosting their cognitive growth every step of the way.
Juniors
At this stage, students develop trilingual fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Through our engaging Book Club, they actively explore a variety of texts, enhancing their reading fluency and expanding their vocabulary. Starting from Junior 3, students begin preparing for Cambridge exams, building confidence and essential global communication skills that will support their academic journey and future success.
Teens
From Teens 6 to Teens 9, students continue their multilingual journey with a thoughtfully balanced curriculum: 50% of classes in Portuguese, 40% in English, and 10% in Spanish. This immersive approach strengthens literacy, supports academic achievement, and equips students to thrive in an interconnected world.
High School
At the final stage of their school journey, High School students thrive in a bilingual environment, with 65% of their learning in Portuguese and 35% in English. This immersive approach helps them deepen their mastery of both languages, cultivate a global mindset, and gain the confidence to embrace the opportunities that lie ahead.

Students at Escola Internacional de Alphaville embark on a unique language journey - immersed in English from Early Years, and embracing trilingual fluency with Spanish from Juniors 3 through High School. Throughout their language learning, they prepare for Cambridge English exams, earning internationally recognized certifications that open doors worldwide. Our aim is for all students to confidently reach a high B2 level on the CEFR scale in English by the end of High School.
Thanks to the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), students explore language through inquiry, connecting ideas across subjects and growing into curious, confident communicators ready to make their mark in the world.
Students grow as confident, expressive readers and writers through our literacy approach, inspired by The Teachers College Reading and Writing Project™ (Columbia University).
This is achieved through a structured workshop model that includes:
Shared reading for context-based learning
Interactive read-aloud to develop comprehension skills
Guided reading & small groups
Interactive writing & word study, supporting spelling, phonics and text analysis
Students grow as confident multilingual communicators by building on their home languages rather than replacing them. They actively celebrate and express their linguistic and cultural identities through music, Portuguese literature, school-wide projects, and trips across Brazil. These experiences serve as expressive tools that strengthen their communication skills and deepen their sense of belonging within our school community.
At Escola Internacional, students link language learning with cultural understanding through literature, collaboration, and global activities such as Academic Olympiads. International experiences - from summer camps in Switzerland to exchanges at Oxford University - encourage them to explore new passions, embrace diversity, and develop the confidence to thrive in an interconnected world.
