Our school proudly opened in Alphaville as Brazil’s first bilingual institution offering a complete educational journey from Early Years through to High School. Students embrace academic excellence and cultural fluency, preparing themselves to thrive in a globalized world through immersive, high-quality bilingual education.

Created in 2004 by the second year High School  students, 'Windows to the Future' is a volunteer project aimed at teaching English to underprivileged youth from public schools and NGOs near Alphaville. Today, students also teach Spanish, French, music, dance, IT, and more, sharing knowledge and building community impact.

We introduced the Ethical Relationships, Well-Being Science, and Self-Actualization Program, where students develop empathy, respect, and responsibility. Through real-life experiences and classroom activities, learners build values that guide their choices and relationships both in and beyond school.

Our school launched the STEAM class alongside the Makerspace to inspire innovation through science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Equipped with tools like 3D printers and laser cutters, students design, build, and test ideas while learning collaboration, creativity, and entrepreneurship.

Our school partnered with NBA Basketball School to offer extracurricular classes where students enjoy a unique sports experience. Through professional coaching and structured training, they develop technical skills, discipline, and teamwork - while connecting with the values and excellence of the world’s most prestigious basketball league.

We introduced the Science of Well-Being and Self-Realization program to help students apply Positive Psychology through hands-on activities and reflection. This builds their resilience, confidence, self-awareness, and purpose.

We introduced the Writing Lab - Perfect Score, a free writing program for High School and 9th Grade students. Through weekly online workshops, students built strong writing skills, increasing their chances of success in university entrance exams and future academic pursuits.

Our school’s Exponential High School program offers students an accelerated academic journey with two pathways - the Brazilian BNCC curriculum, preparing them for national universities, and the International Baccalaureate (IB), opening doors to top global institutions.

Escola Internacional de Alphaville proudly completed the full International Baccalaureate pathway, becoming one of the few schools in the region to offer all four IB programmes - from the Early Years to the Diploma Programme. This milestone allows students to experience a consistent, internationally-minded education that builds critical thinking, empathy, and intellectual curiosity throughout their entire academic journey.

Starting from their earliest years, students journey through the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum - from the Primary Years Programme to the Middle Years and Diploma Programme. They grow curious and confident, developing inquiry skills, global awareness, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning and discovery.

This strong academic foundation leads to exceptional outcomes: in 2024, students achieved an IB average of 31 points, with 92% university acceptance and top scores in the ENEM Redação, opening doors to leading universities in Brazil and worldwide.

Students cultivate bilingualism and biliteracy, becoming confident readers and writers in Portuguese and English, with Spanish introduced from Junior 2. Through the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project and dual-language Book Clubs, they strengthen fluency, deepen cultural understanding, and develop the skills needed for global communication and lifelong academic success.

In 2024, this approach led to real results: 185 Alphaville students earned Cambridge English certificates, with a 93% pass rate, demonstrating strong language proficiency across our multilingual programme.

Students develop essential life skills through hands-on projects, collaborative workshops, and social-emotional programs, guided by our PERMA (Positive Emotion, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, and Accomplishment) life skills framework. 

Through ILOS programs, students travel, study, and make friends across cultures. Teen and High School learners join summer camps in Switzerland, take part in study experiences at the University of Oxford, and practice debates in UN simulations. Together with the Global Studies course, these experiences build cultural awareness, confidence in speaking, and prepare students to become caring and knowledgeable global citizens.

From Early Years to Juniors, students are served balanced meals planned by a nutritionist, with no fried options.
