This week, we opened a new Supermarket in our village! The children are excited to step into the roles of shoppers and cashiers, practicing turn-taking, sharing, and using polite words like “please” and “thank you.” Through this play, they explore early math skills as they count items, exchange play money, and sort groceries by size, shape, or color. The supermarket also encourages rich language development as children create their own shopping lists, ask questions, and role-play everyday experiences. It’s a wonderful way to learn through play!
