Ex-student of the International School of Alphaville and presently in the 2nd year of Graphic Design at the traditional  Centro Universitário Belas Artes of São Paulo, Regina Coeli de Oliveira Chioccarello lived a very special moment on August 20th: together with  4 other classmates, she went on the stage of Centro Brasileiro Britânico's theater, in São Paulo, to receive the first prize in the contest “Embala Idéias”, promoted by SPR International in partnership with  Associação dos Designers de Produto (ADP).

 Regina's and her classmates' accomplishment is even more relevant if we consider the coverage of this contest which involved young  designers and students of product and graphic design courses in the whole state of São Paulo: out of more than 1000 enrolled projects, 48 were judged by a  multidisciplinary jury formed by   designers, cosmetic  industry representatives and by the specialized press.

Besides the prize of R$ 5 thosand reais, Regina received a certificate for the honor obtained, and may still have her creation used by companies in the cosmetic area, as the contest's theme was the creation of packaging for a line of facial treatment products called BrasilActive, with natural components from the Brazilian  biome  – students had to create a line of packages which included a tube for cleaning lotion, a flask for  exfoliating gel and a pot for moisturizing cream, with their respective cartridges.

“We worked on the project during many weekends”, comments Regina. “We made a referential and target public research, went to malls, stores and looked at sites of companies such as Natura, Lancôme, Boticário, Avon, Guivenchy, everything to do what the contest required, that is, a product for women up to 30 years of age, from B and C classes, and using the packaging  price of 3 reais maximum.”
