For the International School of Alphaville,whose objective is to prepare entrepeneurial leaders to work in the international market, it seems sensible to have an exchange program coherent with its pedagogic proposal, preparing the student for his contact with foreigners and  countries abroad.

That is the reason for the partnership with Interprograms, an exchange program agency which has exclusive programs with Canadian schools, among which Reed Deer Public High Schools , located in the province of Calgary. This way, the school can offer all its High School students an international living experience in a total immersion in Canada´s culture.

The exchange of experience with persons who have a different view of the world and the fact English is spoken at all times, are a valid opportunity to acquire ease in the relationship with different people and cultures, besides the improvement of the English language.

Canada was chosen as the destination of the exchange program due to its high levels of life quality , and to its high technological, economic and social development.
Besides this, Canada is the country of the G-8 group (the eight most developed countries in the world) with the highest level of educational quality.

In the exchange program, in Canada, the student does a short High School course with the purpose of qualifying him in a short period (3 months).

During this short course , the student will have the opportunity to learn subjects which are different from the ones in the Brazilian curriculum , so that  his performance is not hindered when he returns to High School in Brazil.

In order to avoid adaptation problems, Interprograms offers a detailed preparation program for the exchange students, with the help of a specialized psychologist. Although the program will be part of the official calendar of activities for High School 2, it is not compulsory. Even so, we aim at taking 20 students to Canada each year.
