JOB COUNSELING

From Grade 9 on, all the high-school students have a special Job Counseling Project.

In this project, the students, with the help of a specialized teacher, study the occupations and take part in lectures given by specialists of different areas.

They also visit several universities. This project lasts the three High-School years and is supervised by a psychologist, and the High-School coordinator with the help of the teaching staff.


REVIEW FOR THE BEST UNIVERSITIES

The Escola Internacional High-School is coordinated by educators in charge of the best vestibulares of the country.

Besides the regular curriculum and the Job Counseling, we provide periodical reviews and mock exams similar to the FUVEST vestibulares that give the students the opportunity to have contact with the peculiarities of the test in terms of content and allocated time.

Each test contains 100 questions covering all the academic subject areas. In five hours of concentration and dedication the students develop more competence and emotional security. In grade 10 we offer more complex reviews and mock tests, and several of our students have achieved very good results as "trainees" in excellent universities.

In grade 12, known as Super 3, besides the regular curriculum, the students have a more intensive review to compete in the university entrance exams,a final solution for those who want to enter the best universities.

SOCIAL PROJECTS

In High-School, like in all grades, we stimulate all our students to exercise their social responsabilities for a better society in the future.

Aware of the need to exercise solidarity and entrepreneurship, in 2004 the High-school students created the "Janelas para o Futuro Project".

It is a project for children of low income living in Barueri, Santana do Parnaíba and Carapicuíba, who are members of the CEPAC and FENIX NGOs.

The project "Janelas para o Futuro" initially consisted of weekly English classes given by the students Guilherme Garcia, Laryssa Honda, Ana Carolina Favano, Ana Paula Favano, Fernando Garcia, Marina Maia, Rafaela de Almeida e Thiago Coelho Wscieklica.

In the following years other High-school students joined the group.
