The Escola Internacional Preschool attends children from two to six years of age, in an environment totally independent from other grade levels.

Clearly aware of the type of human being we want to shape - competent, bilingual, critical, reflective, expressive, kind, and ethical - citizens that are conscience that, in this phase of life, from birth to six years, the framework for building the personality is launched. Preschool Education at the Escola Internacional offers an active, diversified daily routine, full of challenging situations for the children, guaranteeing their development of the cognitive, of movement, of being affective, emotional and socially.


PHYSICAL AND PEDAGOGIC SPACE

The architectural project of the Escola Internacional Preschool  was developed in harmony with its pedagogical proposal.

Spaces were carefully planned and engineered thinking of the children as subjects of their own learning, their teachers as mediators.

The spaces are cheerful, dynamic, pleasant for playing, exploring and learning, where pedagogical activities take place, guaranteeing their learning and intellectual (critical and reflexive), social, affectionate, emotional, physical, ethical and aesthetic development.


THE MINI-CITY - "THE INTERNATIONAL VILLAGE"

The Mini City is a privileged space with avenues and streets, a house, a bandstand, a supermarket, a library, a gas pump, traffic lights, where the children play and learn about the functioning of a city.

Through traffic class simulations, they incorporate notions of civility, of their rights and duties, thus, citizenship  exercises begin  through a serious recreation mediated by their teachers / educators.
